My baby is 9!!!

WOW!!!! Well, actually tomorrow 12/17.

I'm actually quite emotional, my Rusty is growing up so fast. He's 9! Can you believe it? I can't & I gave birth to him, I just can't believe it was 9yrs ago. Rusty, you've been one of the biggest blessings in our lives. The Lord sent us a special spirit. Rusty we are so PROUD of you. You've made some HUGE changes this year and we couldn't be more proud. You've excelled in school, you've joined the mile club at school & not only learned how much you love to run, you broke the school record and continue to widen that gap. Your love and concern for everybody around is so amazing to me, I have learned so much from watching you interact with Kennedy. The love you both have for one another is amazing & rare. You never cease to amaze me.
I won't go into details about the day you were born, but I will tell you, you were 4 weeks early. You & I were VERY sick. I didn't get to see you for 3 days, because I was still so sick & I couldn't get up and walk very much, luckily Daddy was there in the special care nursery with you. You were sooo little but your spirit was SO HUGE.We didn't know if you were going to be able to come home with us, but the Lord made sure you were well enough. The Lord knew we had to bring you home. I knew from the moment we got pregnant that you were very special & the Lord has told us as much in many many blessings. We've been blessed beyond measure with you as our son. You are the best son, big brother, friend, etc.... WE LOVE YOU! Glad to be your parents. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUSTY! HOPE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!
